Key Facts About Eternity

(1) Everyone will exist eternally either in heaven or hell (Daniel 12:2,3; Matthew 25:46; John 5:28; Revelation 20:14,15).

(2) Everyone has only one life in which to determine their destiny (Hebrews 9:27).

(3) Heaven or hell is determined by whether a person believes (puts their trust) in Christ alone to save them (John 3:16, 36, etc.).

Key Passages About Hell

(1) Hell was designed originally for Satan and his demons (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10).

(2) Hell will also punish the sin of those who reject Christ (Matthew 13:41,50; Revelation 20:11-15; 21:8).

(3) Hell is conscious torment.

·         Matthew 13:50 “furnace of fire…weeping and gnashing of teeth”

·         Mark 9:48 “where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched”

·         Revelation 14:10 “he will be tormented with fire and brimstone”

(4) Hell is eternal and irreversible.

·         Revelation 14:11 “the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever and they have no rest day and night”

·         Revelation 20:14                 “This is the second death, the lake of fire”

·         Revelation 20:15 “If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire”

Erroneous Views of Hell

(1) The second chance view – After death there is still a way to escape hell.

Answer: “It is appointed unto men once to die and after that the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).

(2) Universalism – All are eternally saved.

Answer:  It denies the truth of salvation through Christ which means that a person decides to either trust in Christ or else he/she rejects Christ and goes to hell (John 3:16;3:36).

(3) Annihilationism – Hell means a person dies like an animal – ceases to exist.

Answer:  It denies the resurrection of the unsaved (John 5:28, etc. – see above). It denies conscious torment (see above).

Objections to the Biblical View of Hell

(1) A loving God would not send people to a horrible hell.

Response:  God is just (Romans 2:11).

·         God has provided the way of salvation to all (John 3:16,17; 2 Corinthians 5:14,15; 1 Timothy 2:6; 4:10; Titus 2:11; 2 Peter 3:9).

·         Even those who haven’t heard of Christ are accountable for God’s revelation in nature (Romans 1:20).  God will seek those who seek Him (Matthew 7:7; Luke 19:10).

·         Therefore God doesn’t send people to hell, they choose it (Romans 1:18,21,25).

(2) Hell is too severe a punishment for man’s sin.

Response: God is holy-perfect (1 Peter 1:14,15).

·         Sin is willful opposition to God our creator (Romans 1:18-32).

·         Our sin does merit hell (Romans 1:32; 2:2,5,6).

·         What is unfair and amazing is that Christ died for our sin and freely offers salvation to all (Romans 2:4; 3:22-24; 4:7,8; 5:8,9).

Biblical Terms Describing Where the Dead Are

·         Sheol - a Hebrew term simply describing “the grave” or “death” – Does not refer to “hell” specifically

·         Hades - A Greek term that usually refers to hell – a place of torment (Luke 10:15; 16:23, etc.)

·         Gehenna - A Greek term (borrowed from a literal burning dump near Jerusalem) that always refers to hell – a place of torment (Matthew 5:30; 23:33)

·         “Lake of fire”- the final abode of unbelievers after they are resurrected (Revelation 20:14,15)

·         “Abraham’s bosom” - (Luke 16:22) a place of eternal comfort

·         “Paradise” - (Luke 23:43) a place of eternal comfort

·         “With the Lord” - a key phrase describes where church age believers are after death (Philippians 1:23; 1 Thessalonians 4:17; 2 Corinthians 5:8)

·         “New heavens and earth” – where believers will be after they are resurrected (Revelation 20:4-6; 21:1-4)

Conclusion

Our curiosity about the abode of the dead is not completely satisfied by biblical terms or verses.  What we do know is that either eternal torment in hell or eternal joy in heaven awaits all people after death, based on whether they trust in Christ’s payment for sin or reject Christ.

Pro-Abortion groups target pro-life pregnancy centers

Late last week, the New York City Council passed legislation targeting pro-life pregnancy centers. The bill, if signed into law by Mayor Bloomberg, would force pro-life pregnancy centers to place a disclaimer over their doors, listing the services they do not provide, such as abortions, and make referrals to organizations that do provide abortions.
Mayor Bloomberg said he will sign this bill into law, but is doing nothing to give the public the opportunity to voice their opinions about this legislation - as is required by law. The ACLJ sent a letter urging Mayor Bloomberg to have a public hearing on the bill.
This effort to shut down pro-life pregnancy centers is being rolled out by Planned Parenthood, NARAL: Pro-Choice America, and pro-abortion legislators - and New York is the model they are using across the country.
The idea is deceptively simple: eliminate the ''competition'' by shutting down pro-life pregnancy centers that counsel women on alternatives to abortion.
How? By forcing pro-life pregnancy centers to comply with overly burdensome new rules and regulations, and incur additional expenses that Planned Parenthood and other abortion centers don't have to comply with.
Make no mistake: this law is an unconstitutional restriction on the free speech rights of pro-life pregnancy centers.

7 -  US Govt gave China the Panama Canal many years ago - a Council of Foreign Relations (CFR) and Tri Lateral Commission (TriLats) strategy!

9 - China owns 90% of all Rare Earth Minerals - components for Technology, Weapons etc. China makes 80% of weapon components for the US Military.  US is at the Mercy of China!

10 - China is the largest extractor of Natural Mineral Resources, worldwide.  They do more than half of the mining in Australia.  China is mining in Africa, US, Middle East, Canada!  China has a 90% monopoly over all the Rare Earth Minerals!

11 - China is trading in all currencies, making them Flush with Cash so they can buy/sell in any currency.

12 - Russia is the biggest producer of Oil and Gas.  We must watch China and Russia.  American will never win a war against them because the US have moved all its' manufacturing industry to China!

13 -  The Elites, Globalists want a Middle East Crisis within a few months. 16 -  Ordinances (local rulings) have been passed in some Counties in the US which empowers the County Sheriffs to come and padlock a church if just ONE complaint is made against that church (pastor) for speaking out against homosexuality, dress code etc!  They are bringing in these Ordinances to shut down churches outside any process of law - just like China!

Folks...here is an op-ed I have written. It should bring you up to speed but I have lots more documentation. This is serious.  How long will it take for us to have enough Communist Voters to change Idaho to "blue"???

Could this be treason? Idaho, China is coming to town. The Communists are coming and not by stealth but by open invitation from our Governor whom I have strongly supported…until now.  I was personally able to thank Governor Otter for standing strong against the federal government regarding the unconstitutional health care law. Using his own example, I now am taking a strong stance against “the Communist-Connection” that he has invited to Idaho.

Our state officials during their taxpayer funded 2010 June trip, have “courted” and “won the hand” of the Chi Coms…and we won what? So, what does Idaho get from this deal?  We get a 10,000-30,000 acre self-sustaining community of Communist who will be hiring “their own”…and yes, I’m sure there will be some crumbs for Idahoans. Will they be flying the Red China flag? I wonder.

While I realize that money is the “raison d’etre”, let’s set financial considerations aside for the moment. What do you think will be the unintended consequences (or perhaps “intended”) to the culture and sovereignty of our Idaho. This very day, China’s president is conferring with Obama about a “post-America” world. They are coming and they won’t be leaving.

In fact, Governor Otter has arranged “fast track” citizenship for them.  Are we selling our much coveted “American citizenship” for financial gain…you know, the one that people are willing to die for while trying to come to America for the freedoms that only Americans enjoy? Is American citizenship being used as a pawn much as the pull-string game at a carnival to which a Chinese-made toy is attached? It certainly cheapens the coveted “prize”, doesn’t it?

Come on folks…remember about the Communist Chinese…where throughout history people have been rounded up and then disappear, or where educators have been sent to the fields to labor, or where tanks run over dissenters, where people routinely starve to death, where forced abortions occur…you know…that China. This is the China that steals our secrets and pirates our intellectual property. The China that makes over 16,000 attempts each year to hack into our security systems. The China whose environmental record is a disgrace even to the most indifferent of environmentalists. The China which literally stuffs crates with small dogs then cruelly “skins them alive”.  You know…Wal-Mart China.

So, tell me again why we are allowing this?  Oh, that’s right…it’s the money “stupid”.

America is in the crosshairs of Red China and they are out maneuvering us by quantum leaps condoned by our pro-Communist administration. This is about the best shot that China has ever had to make their long-awaited goal come to fruition. Tell me, why would you invite a stated enemy into your home? Could this be treason?
